Founder 'Melvin Jones'
Melvin Jones was born on January 13, 1879 in Fort Thomas, Arizona, the son of a United States Army captain who commanded a troop of scouts.
7-days camp took place in the terai region of east Nepal. Surgery was performed in the Janakpur Eye Hospital, Janakpur. 40,000 patients were given eye checks in the different fields of Sarlahi district. 500 patients underwent surgical operation for cataracts.
