Muhammad Adrees, from Faisalabad, Pakistan was elected to serve as international director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 101st International Convention, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, June 29 through July 3, 2018.


Director Adrees has operated in several industries over the past 38 years including chemicals, energy, textiles, real estate, education and medical sciences. He is currently the chairman and CEO of Sitara Chemical Industries.


He joined Faisalabad City Lions Club in 1986 and has been member of the Faisalabad MJF Executives Lions Club since 1996. He has held a number of offices with the association including multiple district council chairperson, district LCIF chairperson and district honorary committee chairperson.


In recognition of his service, he has received numerous awards including two International President’s Awards, three International President’s Leadership Awards and numerous certificates of recognition. Director Adrees is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.


In addition to his Lions activities Director Adrees is active in numerous professional organizations including chairman of Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association, chairman of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company and president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
